The Kiss is a captivating Danish romantic drama directed by Oscar and Palme d’Or-winning filmmaker Bille August. Set in 1913 Denmark, the film follows Anton (Esben Smed), a dedicated cavalry officer trainee, who encounters Edith (Clara Rosager), the beautiful yet melancholic daughter of Baron von Løvenskjold (Lars Mikkelsen).
